A Bar, a Planet, and a Glass of Lilac Foam: Ornamental by Lameice x KOI 11

Somewhere between a dreamscape and a nutrition bar, KOI 11 has emerged inside Koibird’s London flagship, a place where drinks come with benefits, wellness wears technicolor, and the floor is made of painted lava stone. You walk in, and suddenly, you’re not quite in Marylebone anymore.

For this project, Ornamental by Lameice created a collection of glassware that feels at home in KOI 11’s otherworldly playground. Coffee cups, plates, and barware, all in shades of pink and purple, some opaque, some transparent, like whispers of color caught in glass. The pieces echo the space’s electric palette, where walls shift from lilac to hot magenta, and a giant suspended planet oversees the rituals of drinking and dining.

The drinks arrive, foamy and glistening. Pastel elixirs, probiotic potions, adaptogenic concoctions served in vessels designed to heighten the experience. The idea is that wellness doesn’t have to look like deprivation; it can be playful, indulgent, a little absurd. KOI 11’s menu is a mix of the functional and the fantastical, an invitation to sip, taste, and linger.

There is something about glass. How it holds light, how it shifts through the day, how it becomes a part of its surroundings. The pieces we designed for KOI 11 are  accomplices in this new, strange, delicious experiment.

KOI 11 is now open at Koibird, ready to be experienced.
